Winchester’s concussion “significant,” says MacLean

While there was no official update on the health of Jesse Winchester (concussion) and Peter Regin (shoulder), MacLean said it’s clear that Winchester, who has now missed 10 games, won’t be back anytime soon.
“I would say at this point that the concussion he has is significant,” said MacLean.
“I believe the other day when he tried to exercise he had symptoms again, so we just have to be patient.”
Regin, meanwhile, continues to weigh his options: to have surgery or hope his shoulder heals on its own.
“I’m not sure what he’s finally decided,” said MacLean.
“I know he’s looking at all the options and I don’t think he’s made a final determination.”
