DENVER — Jean-Gabriel Pageau will be a healthy scratch as the Ottawa Senators aim to extend their winning streak to five games against the Colorado Avalanche.

With Jason Spezza returning to the lineup, another forward had to sit.

Coach Paul Maclean will use Zack Smith as a fourth-line centre — at least to start the game — with Matt Kassian and Erik Condra on his wings.

Colin Greening will play left wing on a line with Spezza and Mark Stone.

Craig Anderson starts in goal, while Patrick Wiercioch and Joe Corvo will be healthy scratches on defence.
