Turris trade a winner, Rundblad plays his second game

NEW YORK – It might look different in a couple of years, once David Rundblad gets used to the NHL. Then there might be some regrets.
But right now, general manager Bryan Murray’s trade of Rundblad and a second-round pick for centre Kyle Turris is a winner.
Against Detroit on Thursday, Rundblad played only his second game for Coyotes. Since joining the Senators, Turris has one goal, seven assists, and is plus-8.
More important, according to MacLean, he’s made the Senators a harder team to play against.
“I think he’s solidified the depth of our team, giving us a legitimate second-line centre that we can play against anybody in the league, and he’s generated points from that position, as well.
“For me, he makes us a deeper team and a harder team to defend.”
