The Senators this week

The Senators and Bruins are set to meet for the third time this season.


Tuesday: Ottawa at Boston, 7 p.m., TD Garden.

This will be the third meeting of the season between the teams. The Bruins have won the first two, 5-3 and 5-2. They’re 5-4-1 in their last 10, 16-7-2 at home, and have a plus-minus differential of plus-69, the best in the league. The Senators, by contrast, are minus-3. They’re 13-10-5 on the road, are 6-4-0 in their last 10, and have lost their last three.

Friday: New York Islanders at Ottawa, 7:30 p.m., Scotiabank Place.
TV: Sportsnet, TVA-Sports. Radio: Team 1200, CKOI 104.7 FM.

This is the first meeting of the year between the teams. It’s looking like another lost year for the Islanders. They’re 5-4-1 in their last 10, 8-11-3 on the road, and have a differential of minus-28. The Senators are 14-9-1 at home.

Saturday: Toronto Maple Leafs at Ottawa, 7 p.m., Scotiabank Place.
TV: CBC, RDS. Radio: Team 1200, CKOI 104.7 FM.

After losing the first meeting 6-5, the Senators have owned the Maple Leafs, winning the next three games, 3-2, 5-2, and 3-2. The Leafs are just out of the playoff picture as the week begins, so the game figures to be intense. The Leafs come in on a two-game winning streak and are 6-4-0 in their last 10. They’re 11-11-1 on the road.
