Mika Zibanejad, C, 6-2, 192, Huddinge, Sweden
2010-11 stats, Djurgarden:
Regular season: 26 games, 5-4
Playoffs: 7 games, 1-1

Scouting report: “Mika’s a real power forward but also has soft hands, good vision and fine skating skills,” said Goran Stubb, the NHL’s director of European scouting.
“He has tremendous balance and is hard to knock off the puck. He’s very strong in the battles along the boards, finishes checks with authority and has a heavy shot that he gets off quickly. Mika’s a competitive player who is willing to pay the price to score a goal (and) he does have a very good understanding of his defensive duties.”

First round, 21st
Stefan Noesen, RW, 6-0, 195, Plano, Texas

2010-11 stats, Plymouth Whalers:
Regular season: 68 games, 34-43
Playoffs: 11 games, 6-5

Scout report: “He’s a hard-working real competitive guy who goes to the net hard, battles very hard,” said general manager Bryan Murray.
“When you have that kind of player with size and ability to get up and down the ice, he’s a guy who fits in very nicely.”

His goals are skilled goals. He goes to the net and he battles. He’s not shy about getting involved in traffic and going to the net.
