Senators won’t change lineup for Canadiens tilt

Ben Bishop will make his fourth straight start in goal for the Ottawa Senators Wednesday night against the Montreal Canadiens.

MONTREAL — Ben Bishop will make his fourth straight start in goal for the Ottawa Senators Wednesday night against the Montreal Canadiens.

There will otherwise be no lineup changes.

Matt Carkner, Bobby Butler, and Zenon Konopka will be healthy scratches.

The Senators go into the game only three points ahead of the eighth-place Washington Capitals but four behind the sixth-place New Jersey Devils.

However, a win would give the Senators 83 points, the same as the division-leading Boston Bruins.

The Bruins would stay in first, though, because they would have two games in hand on the Senators.

The Senators return home to face the Canadiens on Friday night and the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday.
