Newark, New Jersey — Paul MacLean is sticking with a winning hand against the New Jersey Devils Wednesday.
That means Robin Lehner is back in goal and Marc Methot — normally a top pair defenceman — will be a healthy scratch. Eric Gryba and Matt Kassian will join him on the sidelines.
The Senators are aiming to put back-to-back wins together for the first time since Nov. 9.
If the Senators win, they will be only one point behind the slumping Toronto Maple Leafs for the final wild card playoff spot in the East.
Martin Brodeur, who has defeated the Senators 36 times in his career — more than any other goalie — will start for the Devils.
