Senators still selling tickets
The Ottawa Senators are trying to act as if it’s business as usual.
Despite the looming threat of a lockout, the club announced that individual tickets for pre-season games, the Oct. 13 home opener against the Washington Capitals and three and six-game regular season ticket packages will go on sale next Wednesday.
For the club’s three home exhibition games – Sept. 25 against Toronto, Sept. 27 against Montreal and Sept. 30 against the New York Islanders – tickets will be half-price for fans 16 years old and under.
All of that is subject to a new CBA being worked out between the NHL and players’ association. The existing CBA expires Sept. 15.
