Pittsburgh Penguins (46-21-6) at Ottawa Senators (37-28-10)

James Gordon, Citizen Sports Editor

Senators 4, Penguins 1
Yes, this looks like an insane pick, but look how far logic and reason has gotten me with this team. It’s Costanza Method time.
Record: 36-39
Exact scored predicted: 1

Wayne Scanlan, Citizen Hockey Columnist

Senators 2, Penguins 5
Hard to go against the league’s hottest team.
Record: 39-35

Ian Mendes, Sportnet.ca Senators reporter and blogger

Senators 5, Penguins 3
You know what would make sense in this ridiculous Sens season, when we can’t figure out this team? A win over the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Exact scores predicted: 2

Graeme Nichols, writer/editor, The Sixth Sens blog and podcast, defending prediction panel champion

Senators 1, Penguins 5
After last night’s game against Montreal, I can’t think of any possible reason to not pick the Penguins. Well, unless they were supposed to fly into town on an Air Canada plane…

Steve Lloyd, host, Healthy Scratches on Team 1200

Russell, host, SensUnderground podcast

Senators 1, Penguins 5
Pittsburgh is just too big a mountain to climb for Ottawa. They are firing on all cylinders and I doubt there’s much the Sens can do to stop them.
Record: 43-31
Exact scores predicted: 2

Jeremy Milks, writer/editor, Black Aces blog

Senators 1, Penguins 5
If Kurt Russell walked into the Sens dressing room dressed as Herb Brooks and delivered the “Miracle” speech just minutes before tonight’s game, they’d still get annihilated by Pittsburgh. But at least they’d get to meet Kurt Russell, and maybe even Goldie.
Record: 40-33

SENS are a streaking club. After each low point this season they roar back with an impressive run. I say good to get these bad games out of the way and fly into the post season on a high note.
    Still love their chances.
    Always love my SENS!

    GO SENS GO!

Its about time carkner plays and gilroy sits. Too soft in the back end. Would live to see the sens win tonight. Playoffs are so close to miss it now. Need our big guns going. Right decision on Anderson. Too much rust. Go sens go!!!!
