New Jersey Devils (0-3-3) at Ottawa Senators (2-2-2)

James Gordon (@SensReporter), Citizen Sports Editor

Senators 5, Devils 0
A team with a newfound sense of confidence after a big road win, last change at home and Marty Brodeur in nets. Many mups will be set aflame, and it will be the Senators who do the lighting.
Record: 4-2
Exact scored predicted: 1

Senators 3, Devils 2 (OT)
This one is tougher than it looks. The Senators, somewhat self-satisfied after beating Phoenix, are liable to find they left their legs in the Arizona desert while the Devils will be desperate to get their first victory of the season. Should be close, but Ottawa has been tough on Brodeur over the years.
Record: 6-0
Exact scores predicted: 0

Ian Mendes (@ian_mendes), TSN 1200 The Drive host

Senators 2, Devils 3
Everything points to a Sens win here. But this one will be a lot tougher than most people think.
Record: 3-3
Exact scores predicted: 0

Graeme Nichols (@6thSens), writer/editor, The 6th Sens blog and podcast

Senators 3, Devils 1
Coming off a gruelling road trip, Martin Brodeur and the winless Devils may be just the remedy for Ottawa’s offence.
Record: 5-1
Exact scores predicted: 0

Steve Lloyd (@TSNSteveLloyd), host, In the Box on TSN 1200

Senators 4, Devils 1
It’s the first game at home after a season opening six game road trip. Since it’s the home opener, there will be a lot of standing around and waiting for the actual game to start. Ahhh, but the only winless team in the NHL is in town. Take the Sens.
Record: 4-2
Exact scores predicted: 0

Peter Raaymakers (@silversevensens), writer/editor, Silver Seven Sens blog

Senators 5, Devils 3
All signs are pointing to a Senators victory, but at some point New Jersey is going to win a game (although witnessing an 0-41-41 season would be hilarious…we could call them the Bill Muckalt of NHL franchises).
Record: 4-2
Exact scores predicted: 0

Jeremy Milks (@BlackAcesOtt), writer/editor, Black Aces blog

Senators 3, Devils 1
The momentum of the Sens’ last win will offset their jet lag against the punchless Devils. Look no further than Travis Zajac, New Jersey’s No. 1 centre, who has 0 goals and 2 assists in 6 games. It’s a big opportunity for Ottawa and they’ll take it.
Record: 5-1
Exact scores predicted: 1

Senators 4, Devils 1
If it was Erik Karlsson’s Phoenix tattoo that won the Sens the game on Tuesday, Ian Mendes’s lower back tattoo of a devil should do the team well against New Jersey tonight.
Record: 4-2
Exact scores predicted: 0
