Ottawa Senators (34-24-8) at Florida Panthers (30-22-12)

The Panthers seem to be slumping at just the wrong time, while a well-rested Robin Lehner rattled off yet another impressive performance against Chicago on Friday night.

Let me take the prediction panel drama out of the equation for the next two games. All of us are going to pick the Sens to do a clean sweep of Florida.

Robin Lehner picked up his first loss but played his best game on Friday night. There’s no reason to believe he won’t keep rolling right now, and there’s no reason to believe the Sens won’t bounce back from a lethargic night. Oh, and the Panthers aren’t the Blackhawks. So they got that goin’ for ‘em…which is nice.

The Hawks put on a fairly dominating display to handle Ottawa the other night. I’m betting the Panthers can’t do that.

Ottawa looked terrible at times against Chicago and I’m sure Paul MacLean had a few choice words that can’t be repeated in a family newspaper. I like the Senators in these bounce back games.
