Chicago Blackhawks (34-24-7) at Ottawa Senators (34-23-8)

Senators 5, Blackhawks 1
Never fade a hot goaltender. #Lehnsanity was trending on Twitter shortly after the Senators beat the Bruins, and methinks it happens again tonight.
Record: 34-31

Last game was an example why we all need to warn our children against the dangers of gambling, and why I hate playing the role of El Predicto. But because James insists . . . Emery will be motivated in his return to SBP but Spezza will be equally fired up to score on his old Bingo roomie.
Record: 37-28
Exact scores predicted: 3

Ray Emery makes his first return to Ottawa and you know this game will mean a lot to him.
Record: 39-26

With Jonathan Toews out with a concussion, I think the Lehn train keeps running.

Toews is still out but the Hawks still have plenty of firepower, but after watching them beat the Leafs on Wednesday the problem in Chicago lately is how easily they allow goals. Drago is hot. I’m riding Drago. (Lehner looks so much like Dolph Lundgren it’s scary).

It’s the last feisty Senators goaltending prospect against the current feisty goaltending prospect, as Ray Emery (probably) gets the start against Robin Lehner. Both have plenty to prove, but I think Lehner’s the better goaltender — and with Ottawa rolling while Chicago’s toiling on the road, a few things are working in favour of a Sens win.

Stats-wise, the Sens and Hawks match up pretty bang on, except that the Hawks have not been good on the road. Plus, Ottawa is the hotter team right now so slight edge to the home town boys in this one.
Record: 41-24
Exact scores predicted: 2

Here’s two teams with almost identical records but both seem to be headed in different directions. Look for Ottawa to keep their momentum going into the weekend.
Record: 37-27
