One win doesn’t guarantee the Senators have the turned a corner, especially considering the depth of their recent slide. Ask me again when they win two or three in a row.

Let me get this straight: The Sens have won two games in the calendar year 2011 and neither game was on Sportsnet? We broadcast like 80 per cent of the games. That’s crazy. Time for the team to rally together and win one for the witty host of Senators hockey on Rogers Sportsnet.

Ok guys, you had your moment. Good job knocking off the powerhouse Oilers. Now, back on the tank. You have some ground to make up. Isles 4 – Tank Army 2.

Two wins in a row? No way! But the Islanders must be tapped out offensively after putting up 16 goals in the last two games and 27 goals in the last five (that seems ridiculous, doesn’t it?) so they’re about due for a loss. And the Senators, well…after 11 losses in a row, Ottawa’s about due for a couple wins.

Despite disaster all around them, both teams are loose as can be right now, and there might not be a more entertaining team to watch than the Islanders lately. The Sens will win in a wild one that shouldn’t be missed. Maybe we’ll get lucky and the coaches will go at it.

I kid, I kid!
6-5 Senators.
In a shootout.
Chris Phillips with the winner.
Wayne,
The Voros trade was supposed to be part of the Lupul trade but got delayed. Orr is going to be out, looks like and the Leafs give nothing to the Ducks if they don’t re-sign Voros (they won’t re-sign him).
