Ottawa Senators (4-1) at PIttsburgh Penguins (4-2)

James Gordon (@SensReporter), Citizen Sports Editor

Senators 3, Penguins 2
If the Senators lose this game, I think they lose the series in a sweep. So why not roll the dice on a fun series and pick a win?
Record: 29-24
Exact scored predicted: 3

Wayne Scanlan (@HockeyScanner), Citizen Hockey Columnist

Senators 1, Penguins 4
Sens could surprise us but Penguins should be wary.
Record: 35-18
Exact scores predicted: 2

Senators 2, Penguins 3
I think the Sens can make some noise in this series, but I have a feeling the Pens will steal the opener.
Record: 28-25
Exact scores predicted: 3

Graeme Nichols (@6thSens), writer/editor, The Sixth Sens blog and podcast

Senators 3, Penguins 5
If this game and series turns into a shootout, it could be a quick one for the Sens but I’m hoping that they can get to Vokoun and force the Pens and Dan Bylsma to rethink their whole goaltending situation. Release the Fleury.
Record: 29-22
Exact scores predicted: 2

Steve Lloyd (@Steve_Lloyd), host, In the Box on Team 1200

Senators 4, Penguins 2
The well rested Sens will start slowly, but as usual will ride the best goalie in the league until they find their legs. I don’t trust Pittsburgh’s goaltending, no matter who’s in there.
Record: 30-22
Exact scores predicted: 2

Peter Raaymakers (@silversevensens), writer/editor, Silver Seven Sens blog

Senators 5, Penguins 3
I feel ridiculous predicting this, but I also feel like Pittsburgh’s defence and goaltending (whether Fleury or Vokoun) are vulnerable and the Sens’ forwards are relentless.
Record: 31-22
Exact scores predicted: 4

Jeremy Milks (@BlackAcesOttawa), writer/editor, Black Aces blog

Senators 3, Penguins 4
Predicting Craig Anderson to give up four goals seems almost ludicrous with the way he’s been playing, but goals just follow the Penguins around, for and against. Ottawa has a bigger adjustment off the bat than Pittsburgh does.
Record: 34-19
Exact scores predicted: 4
