Ottawa Senators (3-1) at Montreal Canadiens (1-3)

The Canadiens have been hit by bad injuries and worse luck throughout this series. At some point, that has to take its toll. I think the Senators get the weekend off.
Record: 28-24
Exact scored predicted: 3

In Budaj … we don’t trust.

One thing I’ve learned from covering 10+ years of playoff hockey: I don’t know anything.

Senators 4, Canadiens 3
The Senators will take advantage of an injury-depleted Habs team. Already looking forward to the postgame Therrien/MacLean handshake.
Record: 28-22
Exact scores predicted: 2

The Canadiens won’t roll over but the injuries have just become too much. Price couldn’t outplay Anderson, can Budaj?
Record: 29-22
Exact scores predicted: 2

It’s hard to believe the Senators are in this position, but here it is–on the verge of defeating the Canadiens in five games. Although the Habs have put together some good games, I don’t see how they bounce back from what’s happened in the last two to make this a series again, considering how fragile that team’s psyche seems to be (from the coach on down). It’ll be a tight-checking and very close game, but the Senators should be able to finish it off in five.
Record: 30-22
Exact scores predicted: 4

Senators 2, Canadiens 1
It looks and sounds like the Habs are in a state of shock right now. At this point, playing at home might even be worse for them. It will be close again but I think Ottawa closes it out.
Record: 33-19
Exact scores predicted: 4
