The Senators are playing an afternoon game? IN RALEIGH? *sad trombone*
Record: 30-21
Exact scores predicted: 5

I know, I know. Early afternoon game. As poisonous as shootouts to the Senators. But this is three games in four days for a Carolina team due for a loss.
Record: 27-24
Exact scores predicted: 1

I never pick the Sens in afternoon games, but this wasn’t supposed to be an afternoon game. So now all the logic gets thrown out the window.
Record: 33-18
Exact scores predicted: 2

The Senators are 1-7-2 in games starting before 6:00 pm this season, they’re 1-9-1 in their last 11 in Carolina and they have never beaten Anton Khudobin. This game is all about overcoming bad juju.
Record: 28-23
Exact scores predicted: 2

The Sens always seem to have a tough time picking up wins in Raleigh. I’m going with laws of attrition. They’re just due for a strong game there.
Record: 30-21
Exact scores predicted: 1

Polar vortex trumps hurricane, I guess.
Record: 21-30
Exact scores predicted: 0

The Canes are almost as bad as Ottawa in afternoon games, so that’s even. What tips this in Carolina’s favour is the Sens inability to score in Raleigh. In 9 of their last 11 games here, they’ve scored 1 goal or less. Kirk Muller may end up building a Hall Of Fame coaching career on the backs of the Senators.
Record: 28-23
Exact scores predicted: 2

I suspect this will be a dull game unless they’re allowed to fill their water bottles with coffee.
Record: 28-23
Exact scores predicted: 3
