The Senators have lost five games in a row. The Flyers are 12-5-2 at home. ‘Nuff said.

O-for-Florida? When has that happened to the Senators (over to you, Mendes)? Faith shaken. Sens must be struggling mightily for the Flyers to seem a reasonable bet in comparison.

This has been a long road trip and this pick is clearly a sign of exhaustion and confusion.

If Ilya Bryzgalov and/or Steve Mason can’t be the remedy for Ottawa’s offence, Paul MacLean may need to ask Dr. Don Chow to play nets during practice so that he can boost his players’ confidence.

Exact scores predicted: 2

I’m only picking the Sens because if I didn’t and they won I’d lose it. They’ve burned me the last few. I might be going down with the ship.
Record: 21-18
Exact scores predicted: 1

The Senators have to win eventually, right? As a group, they’re not playing poorly. They’re struggling to take advantage of their offensive opportunities while their opponents seem disproportionately potent, and that will turn around. A roster shake-up is called for, certainly, but it seems highly unlikely (although certainly not impossible) that the Senators continue this road trip from hell without a single win.
Record: 24-15
Exact scores predicted: 4

Just have a hunch this could be a wild one with a lot of goals. You never know which Flyers team will show up so I’ll bet on the Sens finally catching a few breaks tonight. Hopefully not of the bone variety.
