These teams are so closely matched, all I can do is take the home team.

Big one. Are the Sens up to the challenge? Might be a tired team and the Devils are deadly in extra time.
Record: 26-13
Exact scores predicted: 1

The Sens let one slip away the last time they played the Devils, blowing a 3-0 lead. That should serve as easy motivation for this one.
Record: 22-17
Exact scores predicted: 1

Senators 1, Devils 3
As a team that’s slightly ahead of Ottawa in the standings, this is the kind of game that the Senators are going to win if their playoff aspirations are to be realized. As inconsistent as Ottawa has been of late, I’ll pick the Devils — a team that has won three of their past four games and is on a modest roll.
Record: 27-12
Exact scores predicted: 2

This is one of those games where if I was a betting man I’d just stay away.  Since I have to pick though, I’ll take the home side.
Record: 22-17

Peter Raaymakers, writer/editor, Silver Seven Sens blog

Senators 4, Devils 2
Both teams are playing some very strong hockey right now, but I’ll pick the Senators for two reasons: They’re a much better team offensively, and Craig Anderson usually strings together a couple of good starts after playing a stinker like he did against Montreal.
Record: 25-14
Exact scores predicted: 2

Russell, host, SensUnderground podcast

Senators 2, Devils 3
i don’t have much to say about this one except that I always have a bad feeling when the Sens play the Devils. I always feel like the Devils will just bore Ottawa into a loss.
Record: 27-12
Exact scores predicted: 1

Jeremy Milks, writer/editor, Black Aces blog

Senators 2, Devils 4
Quietly, the Devils are rolling along pretty good right now and already have 11 road wins this season. This will be a tough test for Ottawa after facing a lot of weak teams lately.
Record: 22-16
