They say the the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Fading the Senators with these picks has put me into a freefall. Whatever. I’m sticking with this tack out of spite until it works out for me.

I’m going to go with the hot hand here and assume Craig Anderson can beat his former team once again.

I really like the way Cam Newton has made the Panthers offence look dangerous this season. But I don’t think they will muster a field goal against the Sens (can you tell I’ve got NFL on the brain this weekend?).

The Sens pulled out one of their “cardiac kids” moments the last time Florida was in town, but that was before the Cats hit their stride and became one of the best teams in the East. The Sens are a hot and cold bunch that are presently the former.  Ottawa rises to the challenge and ekes one out here.

I’m not sure if the Senators’ offence can keep going as it’s been going, but they’ll likely have to keep scoring if they’re going to beat the Florida Panthers.

There’s an awful lot of positive waves floating around the Sens these days so I could see them knocking off the surprising Panthers. But, I’m still leaning towards a loss against a good road team. Should be close though.

Let the good times roll. The Panthers are getting lots of attention for their great play but Ottawa is just two wins and six points behind their pace. Sens seem to have some momentum at home and that will give them enough to win tonight.
