New York Rangers (16-13-3) at Ottawa Senators (18-9-6)

James Gordon (@SensReporter), Citizen Sports Editor

Senators 1, Rangers 2
The Senators were lucky — nay, SUPER lucky — to escape their last game with a win. With a desperate Rangers team in town (they’re currently holding down the last Eastern Conference playoff spot), I see the road team finishing the job this time.
Record: 20-13
Exact scored predicted: 3

Senators 1, Rangers 3
New York has been playing better lately.
Record: 23-10
Exact scores predicted: 1

Senators 1, Rangers 2
The Sens escaped with wins by the skin of their teeth against Tampa and New Jersey. Will they do it again on Thursday? They probably will, since I’m picking the Rangers.
Record: 16-17
Exact scores predicted: 3

Senators 3, Rangers 2
Rick Nash makes his highly anticipated first appearance to Scotiabank Place since refusing to waive his NTC to come to Ottawa. I wonder if Ottawa can get some ‘Thank you Nash’ chants going tomorrow at SBP.
Record: 20-11
Exact scores predicted: 2

Senators 2, Rangers 3
The Rangers got Nash and Richards going last game. Turning point?
Record: 21-12
Exact scores predicted: 1

Senators 3, Rangers 2
Although the Sens apparently “put their chemistry at risk” by giving up Kaspars Daugavins, they’ve matched up well against the New York Rangers in recent seasons. The Rangers need the points desperately, but I expect MacLean will have whipped the Sens after a couple of unsatisfactory efforts (despite winning them both).
Record: 22-11
Exact scores predicted: 4

Jeremy Milks (@BlackAcesOttawa), writer/editor, Black Aces blog

Senators 1, Rangers 4
The Sens may still be getting wins but their game has fallen off and eventually the luck will run out. I think that happens tonight against a Rangers team that has more character than people realize.
Record: 23-10
Exact scores predicted: 3
