Ottawa Senators (15-8-6) at New York Islanders (13-12-3)

James Gordon (@SensReporter), Citizen Sports Editor

Senators 3, Islanders 0
This is the toughest call in a while, but Lehner will probably get the start here after frustrating the Winnipeg Jets Sunday. If he does, I expect another strong performance.
Record: 18-11
Exact scored predicted: 3

Wayne Scanlan (@HockeyScanner), Citizen Hockey Columnist

Senators 3, Islanders 1
Sens are rolling and the Isles play better on the road than at home for some reason.
Record: 19-10
Exact scores predicted: 1

Ian Mendes (@ian_mendes), Sportnet.ca Senators reporter and blogger and defending prediction panel champion

Senators 1, Islanders 3
I’m only taking the Islanders because I’m certain the rest of the homers on this panel are taking the Sens — and someone needs to make things interesting around here.
Record: 15-14
Exact scores predicted: 2

Graeme Nichols (@6thSens), writer/editor, The Sixth Sens blog and podcast

Senators 3, Islanders 1
The Isles’ have had difficulty scoring against Ottawa’s goaltenders. Case in point, Marty Reasoner leads the team in scoring versus Ottawa this season. If the Senators can continue to hold Tavares pointless, I like their chances.
Record: 16-11
Exact scores predicted: 2

Steve Lloyd (@Steve_Lloyd), host, In the Box on Team 1200

Senators 4, Islanders 2
The Sens have a history of playing well on the Island … except the last time, but we’re ignoring that for this pick.
Record: 17-12
Exact scores predicted: 1

Peter Raaymakers (@silversevensens), writer/editor, Silver Seven Sens blog

Senators 4, Islanders 1
Although sometimes it’s the teams you’d least suspect who halt a hot streak, I don’t think the Islanders will be the squad that stops these Sens considering the way they’re playing right now. A big win for the Sens thanks in part to another strong game by whichever goaltender starts, plus the age-defying play of Alfredsson and Gonchar.
Record: 18-11
Exact scores predicted: 4

Jeremy Milks (@BlackAcesOttawa), writer/editor, Black Aces blog

Senators 4, Islanders 2
The Isles are actually pretty good this year, but have they ever beaten Ottawa? Even Spartacat has scored a couple of fluke goals against the Isles over the years.
Record: 19-10
Exact scores predicted: 2
