New York Islanders (6-8-1) at Ottawa Senators (8-6-2)

While it’s great for the Senators that they were able to break through against the Devils, I need to see at least one more game with two goals or more to have the confidence to pick them.
Record: 10-6

Isles should be a welcome sight for a team struggling to score.
Record: 9-7

Craig Anderson hasn’t lost a home game in regulation time, while the Islanders just did their best impression of the New York Jets — losing by a touchdown against Philadelphia.
Record: 7-9
Exact scores predicted: 0

John Tavares is off to a ridiculously torrid start to his season with 20 points and 10 power play points in 14 games played. Should Rick DiPietro win (0-2-0, 4.60 GAA and an .842 SV%), it will just add insult to all of Ottawa’s injury woes.
Record: 9-7
Exact scores predicted: 0

I think it’s safe to assume the Sens will still struggle to score goals (I think…) but if they continue with a great work ethic while getting great goaltending….What I’m saying is this has become a very tough team to read. Crap.
Record: 8-8

Can the Senators actually win two in a row? They should be able to. The Islanders will be pissed off after getting smoked 7-0 by Philly, granted, but I feel like the Sens should break out of their offensive funk pretty soon. I’m expecting Zibanejad to have a pretty good game and Anderson to stonewall the Tavares and all.
Record: 10-6
Exact scores predicted: 3

Back on the bandwagon. Assuming Craig Anderson starts, he’ll be more than motivated to get back in the win column after Ben Bishop’s strong effort yesterday.

Exact scores predicted: 1
