Carolina Hurricanes (4-4-0) at Ottawa Senators (6-3-1)

Senators 3, Hurricanes 4
Something tells me Ben Bishop is going to get the start here, which is leaning me towards picking the ‘Canes. Regardless, after seeing the game in Raleigh earlier this season, I just like how Carolina matches up against Ottawa.
Record: 7-3

Tough one here. Only taking the home team because it’s tough to beat a club twice in a week.
Record: 7-3

Predicting 10 goals in a game seems a little bit crazy. But I’ve picked two games in a row correctly and I feel like throwing caution to the wind.
Record: 3-7

This should be a low scoring affair between two teams that have defended very well at even strength. I’ll give the nod to the Hurricanes and Senators killer Alexander Semin.
Record: 6-4
Exact scores predicted: 0

The Sens hardly ever play well at Carolina. Having rekindled the offense against the Sabres, they rebound from last week’s shutout in Raleigh.

Last game, the ‘Canes won on the strength of Alex Semin’s strong play and Dan Ellis’ magic. I don’t think either of them will likely duplicate their efforts, nor do I think the Senators will be shutout once again. And heck … the way Zibanejad looked last game, he’s going to put up a few points one of these nights. This might be it.
Record: 7-3
Exact scores predicted: 1

Ottawa’s home record against the Canes is respectable and it looks like they’ve found their hands again, so I’ll take the home team even though this one makes me a little nervous.
Record: 7-3
Exact scores predicted: 1
