PITTSBURGH — Craig Anderson will be in net and Matt Carkner will be the healthy scratch on defence as the Ottawa Senators start a three-game road against the Pittsburgh Penguins here Tuesday night.
The Senators come into the game having won five of their last six.
The Penguins, meanwhile, have lost their last four games.
They’ve been beset by injuries but will be getting back both James Neal (broken left foot) and Craig Adams (knee). Both were on the ice for the morning skate.
The Senators are healthy other than long-term injuries to Jesse Winchester (concussion) and Peter Regin (shoulder).
Neal hurt his foot on Saturday night against the Devils, on a shot from Henrik Tallinder.
Neal said the injury was initially thought to be serious but a MRI showed the break couldn’t be made any worse.
Penguins defenceman Paul Martin (ill) is a game-time decision.
