The Ottawa Senators will open the second round of the playoffs Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in Pittsburgh against the Penguins.
Game 2 will likely be played Friday in Pittsburgh, with the series switching to Ottawa for Games 3 and 4.
At this point, Sunday appears to be the best bet for Game 3, but that hasn’t been confirmed by the NHL.
In a perfect world for CBC, Toronto would defeat Boston in Game 7 of their opening-round series Monday night and would play a game on Saturday.
The Senators will leave Ottawa Monday afternoon.
The NHL also announced Monday that the L.A. Kings and San Jose Sharks will open their series at 10 p.m. Tuesday. The puck drops on the Detroit Red Wings vs. Chicago Blackhawks tilt on Wednesday at 8 p.m. in Illinois.
