    I don’t even know if Alfredsson’s heroics are true. He played well in one game, the Buffalo one. Outside of him, the goalies have played decently.

    Karlsson has been terrible, letting opponents have clear paths to the net. Gonchar has been played off position in powerplays, oddly. Kovalev is Kovalev, he’s here for the paycheque. Fisher has been pretty invisible. Regin and Foligno haven’t been contributing.

    You can’t ask anymore of Campoli, Carkner, Hale, who are all mediocre.

    You’d like to think they can beat Phoenix and Florida but even that isn’t a given.

    No Fisher, no Spezza (don’t care if he’s been injured, when he plays, he’s dreadful), and no Alfie in the poll. Let’s protect the shining stars and blame the second string.

    The only consistency the Sens have shown this year has been a lack of interest, and a deer-in-the-headlights look. This is not a team. This is a bunch of individuals getting paid a truckload of money to go for a skate.
