Ottawa Senators sign defenceman Eric Gryba to new contract

The Ottawa Senators have signed defenceman Eric Gryba to a two-year, two-way contract.
Gryba, 24, spent last season with the American Hockey League’s Binghamton Senators, where he established professional career highs in goals (five), assists (15) and games (73) while collecting 98 penalty minutes.
The 6-4, 222-pound, Gryba has scored nine goals, 19 assists and collected 230 penalty minutes in 145 career AHL games, all with Binghamton. He has had one assist in 10 playoff games.
A native of Saskatoon, Gryba was Ottawa’s third-round pick (68th overall) in the 2006 draft.
