Lehner gets start against Leafs

Robin Lehner didn’t think he’s been getting a start during this visit to Ottawa.
But with four games in six nights, MacLean decided that Craig Anderson needed a rest.
It wasn’t exactly a risky decision. Lehner has already played eight NHL games, was the AHL playoff MVP last season, and has been playing well in Binghamton this season.
He could be easily sitting as Anderson’s backup, except that the Senators want him to play a lot of games in Binghamton and not sit on the bench here.
“Craig has played a lot of games, and they want me in, and I’m really happy for it,” said Lehner.
“It’s always fun to play up here, and I’m going to try to do my best to get a win on home ice.”
