Ken Warren in Florida: Anderson in net, Methot expected back against Panthers

Sunrise, Florida — Craig Anderson will return to the Ottawa Senators net and Marc Methot is expected back after missing Sunday’s game with the flu as the Senators aim to start a winning streak against the Florida Panthers.

Anderson hasn’t played since the Senators 5-2 loss to Vancouver last Thursday, when he was pulled after allowing four goals on 15 shots.

He is, however, 9-1-1 in his career against the Panthers and lives here in the off-season.

The game will also feature the return of Mike Hoffman to the NHL. Hoffman ranked second in American Hockey League scoring when recalled from Binghamton on Monday.

He has no points in four previous big league games, but is expected to get a shot at left wing on a line with Kyle Turris and Bobby Ryan.

Senators coach Paul MacLean says he’ll make a decision on the scratch on defence at game time.
