The Bruins had three players named to the all-star team. Zdeno Chara and Tim Thomas will play in the game, Tyler Sequin will be in the skills competition.
“I think it’s nice,” said Boston coach Claude Julien.
“I mean, those guys . . . have done well in this league and deserve it.
” I think Tim here is certainly worthy of it and Zdeno same thing. I mean, he is a well-respected defenseman in this league and considered one of the best . . . and Tyler, I think everybody knows his potential, and he is a first year player that has a nice future ahead of him, and he is going to have an opportunity to showcase his skills.”
