Filatov papers hit snag, re-assigned (on paper) to Bingo

Because CSKA Moscow didn’t file the paperwork to put Nikita Filatov’s on its roster, so the Senators could remove him from their payroll and roster, Murray re-assigned Filatov to Binghamton on Saturday morning.
That was just a paper move. Filatov won’t leave Moscow for Binghamton.
If CSKA continues to drag its feet on the paperwork, Murray could suspend Filatov to get him off the roster. But he figures that CSKA will comply and file the paperwork soon.
“We just had to get him off our roster as far as numbers are concerned for the big team,” said Murray.
