Ottawa Senators backup goaltender Robin Lehner has been stellar of late, stopping 26 shots in a 3-2 win over the Florida Panthers Saturday and maintaining a .945 save percentage on the season.

But his time as the Senators’ No. 1 goaltender appears to be done.

Senators coach Paul MacLean suggested regular starter Craig Anderson will be back between the pipes when the Senators face off against the Philadelphia Flyers at home Tuesday night.

Lehner has won all three of his starts since Anderson went down on a scary collision in his crease last weekend that resulted in a trip off the ice on a stretcher.

Anderson escaped with a sore neck and served as the backup Saturday afternoon after taking a few days off.

“Well today’s only Saturday so I’ve got two days to think about that, but we’re going to go through practice on Monday and Tuesday,” MacLean said after the game. “Craig Anderson is the No. 1 goalie here in Ottawa and, if he’s ready to play, he’ll play.”
