Anderson tests his injured hand at practice

Ottawa Senators goalie Craig Anderson

Ottawa Senators goalie Craig Anderson is making solid progress in his recovery.

Craig Anderson is making solid progress in his return from his right baby finger injury and could be back at practice with the team this week.
Anderson worked out before the main practice on Monday morning, holding a goalie stick in his injured hand as he took shots from assistant coaches Rick Walmsley and Luke Richardson.
Anderson hasn’t played since defeating the Washington Capitals 6-2 in a game at Scotiabank Place on Feb. 22. At home after the game, he sliced a tendon on the pinky finger cutting a frozen chicken breast.
