The Ottawa Senators will return Craig Anderson to the net when they face the Columbus Blue Jackets Sunday afternoon.

Anderson stopped 31 shots in Ottawa’s 4-2 victory over the Boston Bruins Friday night, picking up his first win since mid-October in the process.

There was some speculation as to whether the Senators would go back to Robin Lehner — last week’s NHL first star — after Anderson and the Senators were lit up 5-0 by the Philadelphia Flyers Tuesday night, but Senators coach Paul MacLean has long insisted Anderson is his No. 1 guy and will play the bulk of the games.

Anderson missed time prior to Tuesday’s game after getting stretchered off the ice following a scary collision in his crease in a loss to the Dallas Stars on Nov. 3.
