Alfredsson, Spezza to miss game against Islanders

If the Senators want to punch their playoff ticket, they’ll have to do it with two of their bigger stars, Daniel Alfredsson and Jason Spezza.
Alfredsson will miss today’s game against the Islanders with the flu, while Spezza has returned to Ottawa to be with his wife for the birth of their second child.

After three years of teaching English at the University of British Columbia, Allen Panzeri began his career in journalism in 1979 at the Medicine Hat News, where he covered Kelly Hrudey and the Tigers while learning about block heaters, rodeo, and curling.
